Ginger Birthday Show – Stage Time

By Kris | December 15, 2009

The Ginger Birthday gig is almost here – just a quick update on the times / running order etc.

There will be no support at this show, instead Ginger (and friends) will play from the start. The show will start around 8pm so it is recommended that people start cramming in before then, doors are set to open at 7pm. So try not to stay at the pub too late or you’ll miss the fun.

Talking of pubs, the fine folk from the Ginger / Wildhearts forum will be meeting at the Famous Cock Tavern, just over the road from the venue – the more the merrier.

    See you there!!!

I saw the Famous Cock pub on google maps a few days ago. We’ll be popping in for a Brown Ale and some ready salted crisps. Hurrah!

Me too, Nick. Was hoping to get some snaps of the birthday boy but don’t want to risk being manhandled by Garage security!

Danny – I think the curfew’s 11. Last trains and coaches to Bristol are 11.30 aren’t they? I’ve booked a hotel this time and will be returning the next day.

We’re heading to Big Red on Holloway road for pre pre-gig drinks! It’s a pretty cool pub so if anyones in the area from mid-afternoon we’ll be there before moving onwards!

    Morning all πŸ˜€

I live in South Harrow and can offer 3 secure car parking spaces to anyone driving from outside London. From here it takes about an hour on the tube.

Email me (by clicking my name above) if you’re interested, and I’ll send you more info.

    Four things:

    1) That was an amazing night! It seemed like it was a bit of a fuckaround for the guys on stage and it was all the better for that! Completely different to a normal Ginger or WH gig and a unique experience…at least until next year (hint hint?).

    3) My god – the blonde Victoria in the black dress was stunning!!!

    3) It was a very, very odd sensation watching 3/4 of The Wildhearts performing a Wildhearts song…but being very aware of Ritch standing 6 inches in front of me and not behind the drums! At one point I had to ask if it was just as odd for him!

    4) Didn’t lil ol Random do a cracking job of IWGWTPG?
