Any chance that cd will be available to buy anywhere else?

Just it’s a bit of a piss take otherwise.

Can’t say I’m pleased with this, can’t get to any of these gigs, even sold my ticket for Gingers birthday gig and now told that theres a new cd that can only be purchased at the gigs. No wonder people download music illegaly.

    Wolvo gig for CERTAIN!!

I’m going to Ginger’s birthday show – will this new cd be available there? I hope so as i can’t get any time off work for the christmas gigs! Damn unreasonable christmas working hours!

  11. Matt Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 01:12

Oh come on sourpusses. You know these tracks will be released elsewhere at some point! When have these guys ever let you down????

  12. barret Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 01:39

Alot of us cant afford to go to both b’day and wildies gigs so if Chutzpah jr aint available at the birthday gig or at the online store then that seems like a giant middle finger to me!

  13. Chris Davies Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 02:39

Ok I’ll be honest I am feeling a bit sour about it Matt, but if you are correct and they are released somewhere down the line then it’s not exclusive like it’s been stated, so there wouldn’t be much point of advertising it as exclusive?

But the main thing that is annoying about it is, unless there is a strict number of cd’s that can be sold to one person then people will buy extra copies and chuck them on ebay and they’ll end up going for silly amounts, which i’m sure the band don’t want to happen.

  14. Cliff Anderson Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 05:53

Come on, guys!!! Why can’t you just be happy that we’re finally getting the songs that were recorded for the album? People have been moaning about this since the album was released, and now we’re getting the tunes, you’re complaining??

There’s people going who write on this site. If you know anybody that’s going, ask them to pick one up for you. But… I must admit I do feel sorry for the US fans.
Pretty sure that the mini-album will be available at the merch store on-line, anyway. This will solve everybodys’ problems, and stop the bitching.

If you’re going to Wolvo, see you all there. If not, have a good Christmas, and we’ll raise a drink for you. Cheers!!

But is the point we are not getting the fucking song….cock!

  16. Marty Gower Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 09:04

I’m a keen collector of anything Ginger / Wildhearts I feel proud I have about every song they’ve officially recorded & released. The web site states that the Chutzpah Jnr will be available at the gigs ‘Exclusively’. I feel fan demand will win over and it will be released, but it should be available from the web site and for it to be clear that it is or soon will be. The tour ain’t exactly extensive through the UK, which is understandable after an extensive one in September but to sell an exclusive on a 3 date UK tour… not fair to the majority of fans who’ve been loyal as glue over the years.

I’m going to see Ginger in London (I live in Scotland) so I might be lucky to get a copy, but this feels like a little kick in the nads to be honest. Sorry on the scale of life it ain’t a huge deal, but wanted to vent my frustration.

  17. Percy Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 09:06

I’d imagine that the cd will be available on the web site after the tour.

  18. blackdeathcrew Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 09:31

I think that it’s a great thing for the collectors. Don’t remember people moaning like this when the original Fishing For Luckies was a limited release.

  19. Nick Baguley Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 09:38

I’m not surprised if they ration these ‘ere CDs…just like the football shirts….

  20. barret Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 09:40

The fishing for luckies was a fan club release if i remember it had to be sent off for, not had to go to a certain gig! And not all collectors as u put it can attend all gigs so no, i still think its shit!

  21. crispian Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 10:01

    Yeah,Yeah,Yeah…….
I get all the comments about feeling pissed off, etc.BUT,it DOES occur to me that I’ve got both Fishing for Luckies cd’s and, from what I remember, somebody found one of them for me randomly and as a suprise……Is it not likely that this may happen for the rest of you,you know-you’ll get it somehow?
Can’t please all of the people all of the time, etc…….
I can’t get to Ginger’s birthday gig,or get to see Conny Bloom supporting the band in Europe,but,y’know-YOU CAN’T ALWAYS HAVE EVERYTHING,EH?
I’m sure I’ll be even more pissed off when the SG5 gig(s?) are impossible for me to get to,but,YOU CAN’T AL…….
Hope you all enjoy the birthday gig and,if the world turns the right way at the right time,I’ll see some of you at the Leeds gig.
    xx

  22. barret Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 10:06

The thing is thou they can please everybody. Very easy, just stick it up on the web site for sale. Done!

  23. blackdeathcrew Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 10:26

Well, we’ll have to beg to differ Barret, as I think it’s a cool idea making stuff limited availability, however it’s done

  24. blackdeathcrew Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 10:26

I meant we’ll have to agree to disagree

  25. Wilf Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 12:44

I’m hoping ‘exclusive’ means ‘you’ll have it before the general public’. Otherwise it’s a bit rubbish for anyone who genuinely can’t make any of these gigs.

  26. melx Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 13:33

I hope this is for sale at the Birthday Bash. 🙁

  27. crispian Says:

Shame, really. But Chutzpah jnr and a xmas gig will do for the moment,I spose.

  28. Tazbert Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 14:01

I think ‘Wilf’ is right, I can’t see the WH releasing ‘Jr’ only for the people able to get to the gigs. I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t pop up for sale once the tour is done.

No different to being able to afford the Japanese version of ‘Chutzpah’ when it was released, to get those extra tracks. Which I couldn’t at the time (and still don’t have).

But, I can go to the Xmess gigs and as such will get ‘Jr’ before some of you.

    (Mood)swings & roundabouts innit? 😉

  29. Wilf Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 14:03

    Grrrr @ Tazbert! 🙂

Pick me up a copy and I will forgive you!

  30. iddsy Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 14:31

would be nice if they are at the birthday bash, but if not, like someone said im sure the band will put it up on the webstore after the short tour

  31. Tazbert Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 15:06

Find me on the forum. And don’t forget to say ‘please’! Manners cost nothing you know. 🙂

  32. SkyChaser Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 16:38

Hope the Chutzpah Jr record is released on the website after the tour, or a Glasgow date is hastily added… 🙂

BTW anyone know if the Sorry & the Sinatras record is worth having?

  33. Percy Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 16:54

The SATS cd is definately worth *buying*. It’s a stunner!

  34. iddsy Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 17:47

as percy said, its a classic

  35. Col Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 19:22

    SATS cd is a must!!!!

Antiproduct and the loyalties = class line up.

  36. tjk Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 19:37

agree with wilf theres plenty of people who genuinely cant make these gigs – i got no work and 6 kids to make christmas happen for believe me if i could be there – and buy chutzpah jnr i would!

  37. carlwmansfield Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 19:40

simple – make all the tracks available for digital download (on itunes/amazon) in Jan/Feb. Therefore CD is still an exclusive thing for fans attending the gig and also get the tracks a month or two ahead of general release but fans living abroad or unable to attend the gigs (of which I am one) will still be able to listen to the new songs in the new year.

  38. Davey C Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 20:48

AAAARGH! Why did I have to run out of money?! Gonna have to get some cash together – can’t miss out on the gig OR the CD!

  39. Davey C Says:
    November 26th, 2009 at 20:49

Oh, and yeah, the SATS is indeed a MUST HAVE! I haven’t stopped listening to it since I bought it a month ago!

    November 26th, 2009 at 21:56

“Unfortunately I will not be able to sell any copies of Chutzpah jnr at my birthday show. Please spread this news around.” Twittered by Ginger.

  41. sarah Says:
    November 27th, 2009 at 09:24

The only way this could be any better is if SATS opened the UK gigs!! Their album is def worth buying! 🙂

  42. Wayne McCrory Says:
    November 30th, 2009 at 12:40

Don’t get this???? You could probably sell twice as many copies as will be available at the gigs – so why not issue it through the website???? Instead, dozens of greedy gob-shites will be buying multiple copies, putting them on eBay and fleecing the fans who can’t get to a gig!
BTW Mr blackdeathcrew: heaps of folks DID complain about the limited release of FFL in ’94, but at least that time the album was fairly offered to all by mail order. Unless, you are going to a date on the forthcoming tour – you will have no hope of getting the CD at a reasonable, fair price.

  43. Wayne McCrory Says:
    November 30th, 2009 at 12:41

Also, issuing Chutzpah Jnr as a bonus disc on a Tour Edition of the parent album would have been a better idea – and we could all have given the original copy to a friend as a Christmas pressie!!

  44. Sam Says:
    November 30th, 2009 at 13:12

I am really excited about this!!! And while I’m here – Im looking for 2 tickets for Gingers Birthday bash. Anyone got spares? Sam.mitchell@mail.com Thanks xx

  45. JD Says:
    December 3rd, 2009 at 20:56

I’m taking Gingers advice, that is to make a web friend to help me in buying a copy of the Chutzpuh Jnr CD. I live in the US and won’t be able to make it to any of the shows.
If anyone can help me email me and we can arrange payment.
    Thanks,
    Jason

  46. JD Says:
    December 3rd, 2009 at 20:57

Sorry, I thought my email would show up. It’s sunboy@sprintmail.com

    Thanks,

All this talk about obtaining Chutzpah Jnr is coming from the download generation. we don’t see exclusive or rare CD’s nowadays thanks to downloading. I remember the days of going to gigs and coming back with the tour t shirt and a dodgy “exclusive” tape…awesome! I think its exciting just releasing it at a handful of gigs, and before you ask, no I didn’t go, and am not planning to….but I know a man that did!
