Enjoying the set, drawing to an end but it has been excellent.
Great vocals and sound, crowd could be abit more lively but it is LA.
Good stuff Ginger ๐

Great show to start my day! Nothing like an early morning live-blast of Schizophonic to go with my coffee…

I just got back from seeing Ginger’s solo gig at the Viper Room here in LA. I have to say it was amazing as usual with a lot of surprises in both songs and guests. Ginger you never disappoint; you truly are gifted. Ginger eluded that Billy Morrison picked the set list; if true then I tip my hat to you Billy. The set was great. (Still love to hear some SG5 songs). I brought a friend who has never heard them and he loved it.
One thing that I have never experienced at a Wildhearts/Ginger show is an asshole fan(s). I was really disturbed tonight. Granted Ginger/Wildhearts don’t play LA very often but I have always enjoyed a type of “brotherhood” with the other fans in attendance. I meet great people at every show and tonight we all had a great time with the exception of having to deal with this one “asshole fan”. In hopes that this asshole fan is on the list and reads this and wakes up.
I don’t mind people getting lost in the music and having a good time, but tonight this one guy was so oblivious to the fact that he was disturbing everyone around him. For the first portion of the set I watched him pummel this tiny Japanese woman in front of me to the point that she finally had to leave. The wrost part is he was completely unaware of it. He was right in front of me and for most of the set I had to defend myself from his arm which always seemed to be behind him in my face, among many other of his antics I was worn out by the end of the gig.
Once again I say have a great time, get into the music. Ginger is an amazing musician I truly love his music. But please Mr. Asshole Fan next time be aware that there are other people around you who would like to have a great time too, but can’t because of people like you. It’s not about you, it’s not about me, itโs about ALL of us being able to enjoy the music.
Also, if you can’t handle your liquor, then don’t drink so much or at least go sit in a booth.
Ginger you rock! Can’t wait for you to come back to LA.
