Unsung – Preview Song on MySpace

‘Unsung’, originally by Helmet, is the next song being previewed on The Wildhearts MySpace site from the forthcoming “Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One Before Vol 1” Wildhearts covers album.
Some words from CJ & Ginger about the song.
CJ says:
Hey it’s Helmet, what can you say… Just one of the best bands to come out of the 90’s and it was a joy to do this song.
Ginger Says:
We used to take acid and listen to the album ‘Meantime’, when we first started out, and wondered if we could ever be as amazing as Helmet. I don’t think we matched their inventiveness and sheer brutality, especially live, but we felt confident to give this one a bash anyway, on CJ’s request.
I think this song matches his vocals perfectly. Man, this one’s a bitch to play. Helmet are just too damn good for anyone to copy.
‘Meantime’ is one of the greatest albums ever made, absolutely.
