Monday, October 21st, 2024Following the glowing reviews of their comeback show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire earlier this year, The Wildhearts are very happy to announce a 2025 UK tour in March to support the release of their brand new studio album, ‘Satanic Rites Of The Wildhearts’!
The band have just signed a worldwide deal with Snakefarm/Integral, and the album has been produced by Jim Pinder (Bring Me The Horizon, Lotus Eater, While She Sleeps, Bullet For My Valentine) and mixed by Jim Pinder and Carl Bown (Trivium, Machine Head, While She Sleeps, Bullet For My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon).
Ginger has this to say of the new songs:
“The songs were written during a period of transition, from extremely negative to positive. I realised how much control I have over my mental health, and the songs came from that understanding. There’s everything here – catchy choruses, proper fuck-off riffs, anger, frustration, acceptance and revelation, with plenty of insane detours. The album starts pessimistic and ends up like ‘Ah, so I CAN turn my life around?’
Sometimes you have to start from the very bottom, your darkest point. We have more control over our emotions than we think. We control the outcome by how we respond. Once I started learning that, the songs came pissing out. It’s a hard rock album for people who actually love hard rock!”

Saturday, December 23rd, 2017On December 22nd, our brother and bassist Scott Sorry was diagnosed with a cystic brain tumour.
He will be undergoing surgery on December 26th, with the hope the surgeons will be able to remove it successfully, but as Scott lives in the US, the costs of his medical treatment are very large.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise some funds to help Scott and his family out – there’s no good time for news like this, but Christmas time seems to add an extra cruel twist to the news.
If you are able, please spare whatever cash you can – the cost of a pint with your mates, for example, would all go to help out Scott with his recovery. You can donate at www.gofundme.com/scottsorry
Thank you for your support!
