Ginger, Jase and Jon were interviewed by Tom Russell of Rock Radio in Scotland yesterday before their show at Glasgow’s Apollo 23.

As well as having a chat about current musical goings-on, the guys performed an acoustic version of Cheers.

The whole thing was videoed for posterity and you can watch it at the Rock Radio site.

The New Flesh will be played and discussed on the ‘Roundtable’ segment of the Steve Lamacq show on 6 Music today (Thursday 30 Aug) between 4pm – 7pm.

The Wildhearts – Rocksound Interview Broadcast Times

As reported previously, the Wildhearts will be appearing on Rocksound TV. The Wildhearts appearance is part of Rocksound.TV episode 5 which also features Shadows Fall and Botch. Broadcast times for the first week are as follows:

Saturday 14th April – 6pm
Sun 15th – 12 noon
Sun 15th – 9pm
Mon 16th – 3pm
Tues 17th – 5pm
Wed 18th – 12 noon
Wed 18th – 8pm
Thurs 19th – 3pm

There will be further showings for the three weeks following that as the Rocksound show plays for a month. The time in the day and the day of the week Rocksound goes out will always be the same as above, just a different date.

Wildhearts on Rocksound TV / Total Rock Radio

Ginger and CJ were in London yesterday recording an interview and acoustic track for Rocksound TV, which airs on the Rockworld channel (Sky Channel 368). Hosted by Rocksound Magazine’s Darren Sadler, the show will air on April 13th, and will be played 32 times until the 11th May.

CJ will also be appearing as a special guest on Total Rock radio on Thursday 5th April at 4pm, promoting The Wildhearts album release and tour.

Ginger will be appearing on Phill Jupitus’s breakfast show on BBC 6 Music on Wednesday 24th November. The breakfast show runs from 7am to 10am (GMT) although Ginger shouldn’t be appearing until after 9.
