…The wait is almost over

Tomorrow, at 5.55pm, sees the release of the first batch of songs from 555%, the triple-album born from the fantastically successful PledgeMusic campaign. It’s taken a little longer than planned, but the finishing touches are now being made as the final mastering process is underway with the help of the amazing Jon Astley, the mastering maestro behind albums from the likes of The Who, Led Zepplin and The Rolling Stones. Trust us – the wait will be have been worth it!

Once you have downloaded these first tracks (and all pre-order formats of 555% get access to the downloadable tracks), we’d like you give them a listen, and then listen to them again, and keep listening to them as many times as it takes you to pick your favourite songs, and let us know in the comments box on the PledgeMusic site. We’ll collate your votes, and this will help us decide the track listing for the commercial single disc version of the album, 100%. We’ll then repeat this process with the second and third sets of tracks as they are released.

In case you still haven’t made your pre-order yet…well you’ve missed out on a physical copy of the album. All CD and vinyl releases have now been deleted from the order page, but you can still order the digital download version, the “Making Of” DVD and the single CD version, 100%, from the PledgeMusic site.

So make sure your MP3 player is charged up, your data cable is plugged in, and…er…this sounded so much better when you used to spin up your turntable! Just make sure to be ready to receive the first course of the sonic banquet you are about to enjoy!

Today we hit 555% (the name of the Triple Album) and as promised the hard copies of the Triple CD, Triple Vinyl and Liner Note packages have now been deleted. FOREVER.

At this point you can still Pledge for the following until the album is officially released

Digital Downloads – all 30 songs from the recording session.

DVD – which will feature all of the Pledge videos, along with commentaries from Jon Poole. It will also contain bonus footage from the recording process and recent December tour.

Plus a newly added incentive:

“100%” CD – This is the name of the the 12 track single CD that will be commercially released in May, and you can now pre order that direct from PledgeMusic on the right hand side of the screen.

Each of the formats above still comes with the 30 song digital download, so you will still be able to have all the music even if you missed out on the physical triple albums.

Tweeting earlier, Ginger proudly announced, “YAAAYYY!!! 500%. You guys have done independent music proud! This is a historic hammering in of corporate coffin nails.” And followed it shortly after with an insight into the album’s title: “Now I can tell you the title of the triple album. It will be the final percent amount. With my lucky number 5 at the front we cannot fail.”

With almost a month left on the pledge and showing no signs of slowing, who knows what the final title of the album might end up being?
