Oh hell yes :D :D

Sounds like it will be the same show I saw last year but that only gives me MORE of a reason to get a ticket to this

I am as good as there for the Warrington show and more than likely the Salford one too

Its great to see that playing the smaller places like Runcorn has led to bigger places on this tour just a few monthes later and at this rate he'll be headlining Wembley Stadium by 2010

Sing it with me -

Interviewer - "So whats the secret of your longevity?"
Ginger - "Splitting up!"

"Bernard, its hot in the worm."

sorry to bump an old thread but I'm new so forgive me!
I can't recommend this guy highly enough. I liked him before but went to watch his show 'Ready For This' (I think it's the same show he's touring later this year so I won't spoil anything) and he just moved up to a whole new level in my estimation. He was amazing, an incredibly gifted lyricist and piano player and my face hurt afterwards from laughing and grinning so much during his show...

I'm going to that if there's still tickets - left it too late last year (as per the first page of this thread actually)

I heard he's performing at Reading/Leeds festivals, so I will certainly be watching him there.
I saw the show they put on TV and it was a slow start but very very good once it got going :D

The last I heard, they were still on sale, but if I was you I would order ASAP. When I ordered my tickets there were limited seats left and I ordered them just before I went to Download.

When I first read this post, years ago, I thought yeah yeah comedy music whatever, Santa's a cunt etc etc etc how fucking DROLL.

But nah. Tim Minchin is fabulous. I love watching him perform he makes me laugh in both amusement and delight in equal quantities.

This is new by him.

Really like him myself - but tickets at £40 a pop are a bit steep I reckon!

His last tour came complete with 55 piece orchestra, and there are 3 more dates planned for the next few months (Liverpool, Sheffield and London) which are of course a bit expensive, but I would guess given the orchestra are certainly worth it.

Alternatively you can get a double CD of the complete O2 performance from late last year for 15 quid here:

Put simply it's fantastic from start to finish.

I would book for the sheffield date but I am not sure if I will even be in the country at the time, or for the forseeable future.

Incidentally the person who runs his unnofficial forum and/or site would appear to be a wildhearts fan - their avatar is the Chutzpah heart (obviously, like mine is on here)
