My OLD WiLDHEARTS WEB PAGE

Postby tustintime » 11th May 11, 21:24

I made a Wildhearts Web Page back in 96. WiLDHEARTS FANS - pay close attention to the lyrics page. I worked the lyrics out by ear and screwed most of them up.

Sample -

But at the weekend,
well, everything'll be O.K.
(At the weekend got it)
At the weekend,
I'll tell the world,
that for five long days I've been wanting to say
I Wanna,
I Wanna,
I Wanna ride a motorbike
long time, I'll surprise,
and maybe it'll rain or shine or keep it on the front-line,

I WANNA RIDE A MOTORBIKE.

Fucking hell.

The ORIGINAL Velvetpresley. Well, after the Velvetpresley the song is about. And the song, obviously.

Yeah.

I remember a WH competition on the mailing list around the time of EN where you had to submit alternative lyrics for Urge...

I remember mine starting with

Ok, if you're alright
Beans are covered in hair
The pubs gotta share with the clowns...

I like your interpretation in weekend

My knee come crashing in

Tribute to Danny?

Haha, god, I forgot about 'my knee comes crashing in'. What in God's Name was I thinking?

Anyway, I blame the thick, Geordie accent. Yup.

Yeah.

I spent a while figuring out WH lyrics back in the day...

I have to say, "Just make amends in a fax" from Splattermania, is a magnificent line.
