Wildhearts/Ginger covers?

Postby Zoloft » 12th Dec 10, 20:41

Frankenstein 3000 covering "It's Only Love"
Jet City Fix covering "Sick Of Drugs"
Watershed covering "Suckerpunch"

Any other bands RECORD and RELEASE covers (not just played live, actually released on CD)?

I just did a bit of casual Youtubing and I'm fairly sure you can remove Watershed from your list there...

VP is certainly correct. The Watershed CD arrived, listened to a bit of it today, generic rock, nothing special, but despite the fact that the AMG attributed Suckerpunch to Ginger, it's most certainly not the right song. Fortunately, I only spent six bucks on it. . .

Any more?

Do you have a CD?

We have a live CD from a few years ago but we've changed personnel since and it was never released.

You could say that I'm misinterpretting the conditions of your criteria ;)

Here are a couple that I recorded for a fan-generated tribute album that I tried and failed to arrange. I'm in a band but these are all just me. I count them as part of my solo project. Eventually I hope to get permission to put Caffeine Bomb on my proper album if I ever finish it.

Erich Arndt - Caffeine Bomb

Erich Arndt - Vanilla Radio

I'd forgotten just how good those covers are Nuno, great stuff.

I did a version of Song formerly known as a while ago. I have no idea where that is now.

Thanks a lot. My version of Vanilla Radio could be a lot better, but my Caffeine Bomb is about as good as anything I've ever done,in my opinion.

Actually, I really enjoyed VR, and that's one of my favorite WH songs to begin with, great job! If that CD ever comes out, I'll be first in line to pick one up.
