I lost my tape about 10 years ago when my little sister decided it would be a good idea to record her "yodelling" along to the Coronastion Street theme tune repeatedly over it (I have no idea why). Just recently been given a lovely mp3 version and it's brought it all flooding back! Really good grindy slow version of Caprice on there.

Oooh! Any chance that could find its way onto a filesharing site or Grooveshark perchance?

Do the Channel Bop - played live not sure by which band
In Like Flynn
Nite Songs

Ginger's Angry Youth did Junkenstein at the Astoria, supporting Napalm Death.
Ginger opened with Thunderfuck on the September 2003 "Acoustic As Fuck" tour with Random and Hot Steve.
SG5 performed Do The Channel Bop on their 2001 tour.
The Wildhearts played In Like Flynn in October 2003, firstly at Dudley JB's as a warm up for the tour supporting Motorhead (where they also performed it).
Nite Songs was performed a couple of times on the 1998 Japan tour by The Wildhearts, as well as on few occasions by Ginger.

That should help narrow the list down a bit ;)

Thanks for filling in the blanks, there's not that many left that have never been played live by Ginger at some point. I've always liked V-day a lot, would be nice to hear that one day. Otherwise a few more outings of Schizophonic and Channel Bop would be nice too :)

Might do a b-sides thread next if I can be bothered... ;P

Album tracks that have never been played live..

I have most of this on cassette from when I recorded it and have been meaning to transfer it to mp3. Fantastic, thank you
What order are the tracks meant to be in?

Cheers Nadgers :bounce:

Was a great gig but i think it's the only time i've left a Wildhearts gig before the end.
I left halfway through Getting It as they had played quite a long show that night and a few of us had to run for the last train back to Ayr.(at least i think it was this gig)

This is where i find out they played another hour after Getting It... :coat:
Seems such a shame but it kept us entertained

The tracklist in order is:
1) Whoa Shit... (starts towards the end)
2) Caffeine Bomb
3) Miles Away Girl
4) Caprice
5) Suckerpunch
6) TV Tan

Does anyone know who was in the band at the time? I seem to remember it being Devin Townsend playing on there but was a looong time ago.

I don't think it was Devin.

It may have been Jef as none of us knew who he was at the time but i've got something in my head that someone else reasonably well known stood in for that tour.Remember the guitarist on TotP appeared with a brown bag on his head.

Wikipedia says Jef didn't join until 1996. I'm not sure. Can anyone shed any light?

Ask Ginger perhaps?
