I'll throw in Lies & Gold Dust by Whatever as we've already had Sugarbuzz. Love 'em both.

Lies & Goldust has no WH connection that I can see, as Stidi had left the band by then. Fucking awesome album mind.

This is an absolute bastard of a question!!

Plan A - Hey Ho!, Honeycrack - Proziac, Sorry & The Sinatras - Highball Roller, Jackdaw4 - Bipolar Diversions are all awesome IMO, but I'd have to go with The Yo Yo's - Uppers & Downers for my favourite spin off. That album has been the start of many a messy night for me over the years - absolutely love it!

I thought I was quite up on WH spin-offs but there's some stuff mentioned here I've never heard of. Investigation time!

I think people are stretching the term 'spin off' to it's absolute limit here.

Jackdaw4? seriously.... how are they a WH's spin off?

Willie Dowling who's worked with the Wildhearts and was in Honeycrack with CJ is their frontman.

Well the whole "spin-off" thing just meant they had to be in the Wildhearts at some point. Something like the Yo-Yos wouldn't strictly count either (along with others) as they are a band in their own right, linked by a member is all we are getting at.

well yeah, I know that, but come on...... that's hardly a WH's spin off is it? he played keys live for the WH's for what ...... a year back in the mid 90's? and now his latest band is a WH's spin off? not to me it isn't. :D

Aye, I say WD is fair game. Why have stringent rules?

Feck it, I say Pure is one of the best WH spin off albums.

As much as I love albums by Honeycrack and The Jellys, it's got to be 'Uppers & Downers'. Anyone know why 'Rock City' wasn't included on it? It was one of the Yo-Yo's best songs for Christ's sake!

Uppers & Downers, followed by Prosaic. I love it all, but those are the two best. Probably the GTA album after those.
