Website Issue?

Postby hoodedclaw » 30th Oct 09, 21:23

Ean, The Wildhearts website loads as just a white page for me, with a list of topic links down the left and photos, also left. It has been this way since around the end of the tour. I presume this isn't how it is supposed to look. I use Opera 10 by the way.

Hmmm, OK.

Just to check the easy stuff first:

Try - View>Style>Make sure 'Author Mode' is selected.

? :?

Nothing else in that menu has a tick next to it does it?

But there's nothing private about this.

Other people might be having the same problem - Hoodedclaw's kept quiet about it for nearly a month, so people aren't necessarily reporting things straight away.

Or other people, who actually use Opera (for more than just checking to see if it displays properly), might know what's up with it.

No other ticks Ean.

I said nowt earlier because it's a problem that had occurred previously, but which seemed resolved during the tour. I imagined it would do so again.

When downloading the page, the download status bar reads that it has successfly downloaded 22/23 elements...with the little egg timer hanging, it seems there's one element that it doesn't like.

Hi,

Does it look similar to this?

If not, please can you post a screenshot to help with investigation?

Thanks

Can you try:

Tools>Preferences>Advanced>History>Memory Cache>Empty Now (OK)

Then reload the site...

?
