Could do, but I wanted to take that extra bit of treble off the notes so but it onto the thicker strings. Doesn't really matter thou.

Most underrated song they've ever done. A personal favorite.

...If anyone's interested...
Code: Select all
Crying over nothing

**b/r is bend/release, as in back to the original note.

(Pick slides after the bass)

Fig. 1

(Second guitar playing around the E5th on 7th frett)

-----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------
-2---------------------------------------------------------------
-0--0-0---3(bend half and pull off to open)---3h4----0---0---3h4-

Fig. 2         (Palm mute)
-----------------|-----------------------
-----------------|-----------------------
-9----9--9--9----|-----------------------
-9----9--8--7----|-----------------------
-7----7--7--7----|--2--22-----222--------
-----------------|--0--00-----000--------

(On the final round, you'll hear the following)
------------------------
------------------------
-16---16-----16-15-14---
------------------------
-14---14-----14-13-12---
------------------------

Verse- "You, with the sadness..."

E, D, C (GGG), D (AAA)

End of verse- "Down, down..."

A, B

(This could so easily be played on the lower strings, around the G. I'm fairly certain the quieter guitar is doing it anyway)

---------------------------------------------------------------
---7----6----5----2-------0---0h1------------------------------
-5----4----3------------2---2----------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-Chorus- "You can't stop crying over..."

B, A, D, A

--------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------5--4---2h4--------
-0--0-0---3(bend half and pull of to open)---3h4-------------3h4----

B, A, G (twice as long)

Chorus- "It's alright, so why care..."

(As with all parts like this, I will never tab the single notes being plucked from the barre chord. Seems a bit pointless, very straight forward anyway)

D, A, B, E
G, D

------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------7-----5------------------------------7--5------------
-0--0-0--3p0-----------------5---4-----0--0-0-3p0-------------5h6h7-----
-------------5p0----------------------------------5p0-------------------

(Palm muted)
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------5---4----2h4------------------
-0---0-0---3p0----0-----------------3----------------

(Chorus again, end on A)

Climax- "Cying over nothing.."

I'm so sorry, I can assure you I haven't forgotten about you. I have the thing worked out but this past week has been awful, and I'm struggling to get it typed up. Sorry about the delay.
