Genius, Keep 'em coming - I stupidly chucked all my old mags years ago. :D

I think the much rumoured website revamp could benefit from all these scans of old reviews and interveiws, maybe its worth suggesting it to the powers that be.

Seen 'em, knicked 'em, saved 'em. They'll be added to the WH photobucket along with all the newer stuff and used where appropriate.

Shat Noir (and anyone else who posts any) - If you've got the mags they came from, any chance you could put down the issue dates please?

Yeah same here, I did start going through them and pulling out all Wildhearts articles but it was taking forever and I had about 300 copies of Kerrang! and Raw to go through.

I wish I had lept the Raw articles, they gave them such good press.

Re: the articles - that's the first time I have ever seen a picture of Snake.

Trying to get them into some sort of order here.
An archive would be a good idea but we're gonna need other people to have similar stashes.

I've got loads of old magazines in the attic, and a folder full of old clippings. The only problem is I don't have much time to be scanning them in right now, so if there was an archive set up I could help fill in the gaps later on.

Sorry Ean but I won't have the dates for most of these as I cut most of the Wildhearts stuff from the mags ages ago

When I've got time I'll dig my stash of magazines out again from the far recesses of the attic and go through them. I might be able to help with dates for some of these as well.

No worries - just if you had them. I can work out from the content roughly when most of them are from.

Is there more of the Rock Power article you just posted?

I've got another article with a photo of Ginger in that jumper. Seems to be the same photoshoot, only this article was printed in Raw with the '...Shitsville' lyrics.

i just downloaded "The Replacements Bible" - a massive .pdf file with loads of articles, interviews, a session/gig history, photos etc. really well put together too. maybe something like that for the Wildhearts would be in order?

i can only really contribute fairly recent stuff (i've got odd kerrang/rocksound mags dating back to around TWMBD), but i'll scan what i can next time i'm home and post it here.

I'll tell you what I fucking love, and that is what Ginger said then is ever so true today. It's lovely he never rested on what he said.

And no one should

Lovin' it....
