CJ: "We've got two albums coming out next year, including a covers album and a Kiss type album - not one where we sound or dress up like Kiss but where we all get to take turns to do the different parts, including lead vocals, which we can all do - after a fashion!"

How fucking sweet is that? TWO fucking albums?

He mentions next year - which as the interview was in December is this year - as the 20th anniversary. However, I thought they formed in 89.

The first I heard of the band was at the Soho Roses penultimate gig in Stevenage in June 89 when Julian said he was joining Ginger's new band with CJ.

The first time they were a four-piece was at Rock CIty on Good Friday 91.

I've mentioned the new albums to a contact at Kerrang!

He said: "I'll try and squeeze it in for the news pages".

Hopefully, there will be something in tomorrow's edition. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Was there FUCK anything in Kerrap... nowt that notices as I flicked through it... there's less and less time spent with that rag in Smiths... I just don't get how they can champion Led Zep but ignore the middle aged bands? Oh well... fuck em!

The albums next year sound interesting... I gotta say, if I trust any band to do cover versions in their own style it's the Wildhearts (... and MetallicA... ahem).

BUT - YEAH! - the Kiss style album sounds great... presumably this is going to be a bona-fide Wildies release? Can't frikken wait... I've always felt like the more investment individual band members have in material the better generally. BRING IT ON!!!

There wasn't anything in, though their deadline may have passed by the time I mentioned it to them.

The thing I mentioned about Ginger's fear of an american stalker got in a while back, so I'm hoping something will be mentioned eventually.

And since we discovered the stalker is infact our very own Mr Wade, you'll be pleased to know he's still sending those freight containers to Gingers house
