That message sounds like your card's not processing, have you used it anywhere else recently?

Got an email saying that they were unable to process because of something to do with the credit card.

It's always worked perfectly for online purchases till now.

Message said:
'Many thanks for your recent order, unfortunately we have been unable to gain
authorization to debit your card despite several attempts, this can be
caused by many reasons, often digits may have become transposed, the issue
number omitted or an incorrect expiry date entered.

If you would double check your card please and then resubmit your order via
our secure server at xxxxxx'

Clubs, swing, balls, clothes, shoes etc :D

Seriously though, it's 16, with my society handicap at the pub I drink in at 14 (38 points at the last outing last season won me the trophy and also a 2 shot cut :( )

Sounds like it might be a problem with the card issuer's system if it's happened at more than one place?

Is there anything else you need to buy that you could test it on?

38 points - bloody show off - not surprised you had 2 shots knocked off!!! I would have cut you more for a score like that :eeek: I play off 24 so still got some way to go. Only play in the pub society (and an annual trip to Spain) so don't manage to get out much more than once a month. Not played since September at the moment so the itch is building very much at the moment to get back on the green stuff again. No doubt it will soon dissapear when I shank one off the tee into a clump of trees!

Now can we stop clogging this thread up with credit card problems please and talk about a proper topic like golf?

Do you mean in the webshop or just on the net in general?

Just on the net in general.

If you've had a similar problem elsewhere, it sounds like your card company has a problem with their system.

Who are you with?

Will try something tonight, I'm sure there's a cd or two I could be in requirement of

I'm with HSBC

I'll try my MBNA one here tonight when I get home, see if that has a problem too, which never has as yet.

Just tried my Maestro debit card under the Solo option, as suggested in the webstore thread.

I got the same message as per the credit card, any further Ideas Ean?

Thankfully Chris has sent me the phone number for the office, so I can ring the order in over the phone on monday if there's still no solution.

Ah right. Apparently they've disabled the Maestro option because they've changed something in their system. Should be back soon.

Is that your MBNA card then?
