No shows for me as everything I could travel to are too far away for a school night. Not best pleased.

Is the vinyl the only way to get it? Don't have a record player and understood it was to be a download EP.

From what I understand, it's red vinyl 7" only, along with a digital download. That's why I'm hoping to get a confirmation email (other than from paypal) with the download link.

Did anyone who purchased the vinyl get a link to download, or did they actually expect us to pay for both? If you are gonna release a vinyl exclusive, a free download should be included, not have to buy both. That's just greedy, especially since a download costs the band virtually nothing.

That's some shit to sling!

As far as I know G's Pledge campaign is the only one to offer free download if you buy a physical copy (I am sure there are more of which I am unaware, however it's quite obviously not the normal way of doing things).

And while it wouldn't cost a lot to host MP3s and have them sent out, you'd need an individual code with each vinyl/some method of regulating the downloads to prohibit thievery.... which is probably more hassle than the scheme would be worth.

I've often wished that they offered a free Kindle download with the sale of a new physical book, that would be easy enough with Amazon. Sometimes the Kindle version is pricier than the physical. But that's by the by.

I still buy an awful lot of punk rock vinyl, and with very few exceptions, vinyl only releases have always come with a digital download along for the purchase price. I can think of only two 7"s I've purchased in the last few years, the E_I one included, that didn't include a download.

I stand corrected, however I still doubt that greed was a factor.
