I'm going to see Kitty & The Kowalskis in Hoxton on Friday - I'm sure some of you remember her from the old days of the LiST. ;)

Saxon / Wolfsbane, Bristol Tue - very good even allowing for the nostalgia booster.

Even better were these at the Thekla http://www.myspace.com/kassidyuk/videos/oh-my-god/106972757 Some fules trying to make 'em out to be Kings of Leon-esque and / or lump 'em in with Mumford, F'Foxes [blah, blah, blah]; but trust me, they rock live. A better comparison would be the way Zep played their acoustic stuff live, but with the intensity of Slayer - yeah, I know that sounds ridiculous, but they really went for it.

Corrosion of Conformity, Fleece tonight. Then some acoustic bloke next Mon.

Black Spiders in Leeds tonight. Fucking hell they were good. First date on the tour too - catch them if you can.

Eureka Machines also started their big May tour tonight, I'm catching them later this month as well as The Scaramanga Six. Win!

A week ago I wasn't going to the former, now I'm 90% on for it.

The latter, on the other hand, is a given.
