I am going to see them in Cardiff.
I cannot recommend this band enough, their live show and new album is, in my opinion, the most exciting thing to happen in music in a long time

:wtf: :) :D :bounce:

This is amazing news. FS and EM in one night and it's 10 mins from my house. And it is 7 days away. Bring it on

Edit: Eureka Machine only playing Leeds and Birmingham : (

Sorry about that, didn't fully check my facts before getting carried away!

As for the gig itself, every band on the bill seemed to be on form, musically it was an excellent gig, great performances by the bands on display.

The venue wasn't full, maybe 2/3 full, but is it just a Birmingham thing for everybody to stand well away from the bloody stage in an arc and not really participate? At an acoustic session maybe warm applause after songs and a lack of movement is quite normal, but at a full on rock/pop gig with brilliant live bands giving off the energy that these lot do? pfft!

If you're seeing Eureka Machines and Foxy Shazam I'd expect a bit of bloody life from the crowd! If you can't go mental at a Foxy gig, even at the cost of your own dignity (and oh how mine suffered haha, but at least my hat came out of it with some credit), when CAN you go mental?

Eureka Machines were of course excellent, new songs sounding very well honed and impressive, can't wait for the new album.

Foxy Shazam played pretty much exclusively from the new album in what was quite a short set partly due to Thursday night curfews, again they were as excellent as I expected.

If you like high energy rock n roll then it's worth catching this lot live. Saw them on Saturday in Sheffield.

Went to see Kyuss Lives at Rock City. It was immense. Garcia sounded just like he did on record, and the new guitarist was excellent. Loud as fuck and just great.

Hope to make the Bristol date. Undertones last night were phenominal and absolutely agree with comments about Jim Jones Review, dynamite live.

Yes - they are fantastic live. Proper rock 'n' roll like it used to be before most of us were even born!

JJR are like the Clash jamming with Jerry Lee Lewis - they deserve some success; if they play your town, get down to the rock show and prepare to be knocked off your feet.

It's how I've sold 'em to half-a-dozen people [easy sell as they're such a great band and no one disappointed yet].
