PLEASE don't come expecting Wildhearts songs, I'm afraid we aren't learning any as there is just WAY too much solo stuff to learn

I see that as perhaps the biggest positive in the message (not that I don't like WH material, but I love the idea of hearing ONLY solo/side project stuff)

Excellent news! :D

York, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds? I am spoilt for choice! I wonder how many I can make it to this time?

I may have been made redundant by then and have nothing better to do than go to all of those dates. At least it will cheer me up!
New Eureka Machines dates up now, see http://www.eurekamachines.com/gigs.htm for info.

I didnt know it was in the London thread because I dont read it as I wont be going to that show. So it was news to me when i read it and thought Id share it here. But I wont do the same from now on.

BTW, its interesting to see that tickets for York are on sale already.

Hell yeah. Wouldn't be the same without you. We can make a big girly night of the Manchester gig, possibly staying over if ya fancy it  and I'll prob drive to leeds then Pudu can have a drink. I can't wait.

Same here. Love the WH stuff, but there's so many solo songs that never get an airing, it'll be great to get a chance to hear some of them. Wonder if such a statement will have much of an effect on ticket sales- the more casual fans will probably buy tickets on the basis of expecting to hear a couple of the usual standards. Laika Dog too, an additional treat!

after seeing a couple of gigs on the last solo tour with full band i did comment on here that my only disappointment was Gs decision to include WH material instead of doing a full solo set so im another one whos well pleased about Gs announcement.....however i do think itll alienate the more blinkered of the WH fans and thats a pity cos i aint seen a solo gig that didnt rock.....i just hope the exclusion of john poole doesnt have a negative effect
