Moodswingers

Postby disgorged » 11th Jan 10, 14:28

Does anyone have an audio rip of the Moodswingers gig at the Highbury Garage from 1996?

I used to have it on tape, but i'm buggered if i can find it! Remember this night surprisingly well considering how drunk i was...in fact it's a drunken 16 year old version of myself that got to shout for Nita Nitro on the night.

Thanks in advance people.

I've got the 1995 one at the Garage. Is that the one you're after?

I think it was just before the Sex Pistols Finsbury Park thing, so 1996, I believe....

I wouldn't mind hearing it either...had to leave before the band finished, if memory serves...I remember Kick Out The Jams for some reason from this gig, but I may have been drunkenly dreaming that...

Yeah, it was definately 1996, and there certainly was a cover of Kick Out the Jams (amongst others).

They came on and played about 4 songs, then Ginger spent most the rest of the night picking people out of the audience to choose what song they wanted. It was a cracking night.

Also, if anyone's got the gig from the Brixton Academy from November '95 (which at the time was gonna be the last show ever) I'd really appreciate it. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.

I have this bootleg, see link for download, be warned quality is poor.

I remember this gig being before the Leeds Sound City gig, the Sex Pistols gig was later that year, I went to both these gigs but not the Moodwingers gig.
