Set list:

I Wanna Go Where The People Go
Vanilla Radio
Someone That Won't Let Me Go
The Revolution Will Be Televised
Understanding Jane
Sick Of Drugs
Suckerpunch
Liberty Cap
Carmelita
You Took The Sunshine From New York
Mazel Tov Cocktail
Chutzpah

Encore:
The Jackson Whites
The Only One
Dreaming In A
29 x The Pain
My Baby Is A Headfuck

Sadly only about 60 turned up (I counted, standing in the balcony)
The guys looked dissapointed, Ginger commented "Apperently nobody knows of us around here" Kicked into "I Wanna Go....." You could tell he was annoyed singing it but the fans that were there really got into it and before the next song Ginger said "for a small bunch you make a lot of noise"
The band really got into it then and it was an amazing show, they really rocked stickys to the ground!!!!

hey,

well summed up! Me coming from a small town (and hence travelled to see the show) was expecting a small club like that in a BIG city like Gothenburg to be easily filled up. Call me naive. Was as surprised as anyone to see the poor turnout but the few there and the few who really got into it (myself included) enjoyed the hell out of this night because the band delivered! Very energetic, Ginger was very entertaining as always and my first time seeing The Wildhearts was entirely memorable.

Man I wish I was able to make this gig sounds like it was fun. Shame about the lack of an audience but they always play well.
I remember the Barrowlands a while back was a bit empty but It was still a blinding gig. And at times a nice change to easily get to the bar :D

hey,

indeed. I had a friend who was watching from the distance that I could easily go back to and then easily into the gig again. Here's a few photos I took and in hindesight, I should've taken some shots from the side rather than in front of all the time but that's why I'm a writer and not a photographer.

Was that the Barrowlands last December? Yeah, was a bit sparse, as Ginger pointed out at that gig it was kinda the first Christmas of the credit crunch in full swing and he said something like 'I know there's not a lot of money around right now, so thanks for spending some of it on us.' Which was nice. The Garage a few months ago was rammed though. Which was nicer.
'C'mon, make me feel like me.'
