Some messageboard software CAN have a like feature, don't know about this one though.

E-mail notifications are a massive pain in the arse. A new email for every post, nobody really wants that.

Matt Haywood reporting in, moaning as usual, but I always liked this place and do believe it WILL be a positive experience again.

For a start it takes most Facebook trolls too much time and effort to actually register and post, no 5 second one line bullshit posts - things are generally more thought out.

I haven't played much with that Tapatalk app yet, but it's maybe not as bad as I thought, and it looks like it does notifications if you want.

(p.s. Hey, I can quote people! How I've missed that.)

Hooray! I've been reading The Wildhearts Facebook Group over my husband's shoulder for the past N years because I refuse to get a Facebook account of my own (mostly because of its stupid "real name" policy - I was horrendously bullied at school and I don't want any of those people to have access to me). Now I can actually join in. Woo-fuckin'-hoo! 8-)

Hello Ginger :D. Was nice to finally meet you and have a proper chat at Wolverhampton. I was the girl with the red wheelchair and small brown ewok.

Look at this, Wildhearts smileys. Don't get any of that on the Bookface now, do you  ?

O.K.
So I'm back on here after quite a while away, to be honest I was getting a little fed up with the FB site.
I've only recently got G.A.S.S. so bear with me whilst I catch up! :D

Just watched At The Devils Door. Pretty tight horror movie, played straight and serious. Great build up to...nothing.
What a criminal waste of a great finale. Whatever happened to great horror movie endings?

Can anyone recommend a great horror with an awesome finish?

Oh, expect regular messages like this.

p.s. This place is gonna come in handy when the GASS diary is up at the end of April.

What are you thinking about the proliferation of Nazi zombie films that I seem to be seeing a lot of lately Ginger?

Cashing in or just tasteless?

I'm more offended by the milking of the zombie franchise than anything. Put a zombie spin on a Nazi movie, or vice versa, and it's just tasteless garbage for people with no taste.I guess they need film genres too, with which to much on their cardboard food until the next Russell Brand campaign almost gets them passionate about something.

There is a French film about zombie football hooligans.I've not seen it but i'm wondering if being zombies was a step up for the hooligans.I did actually watch Return of the Living Dead for the first time in years a few weeks back.Loved it and it got me singing Surfin Dead by The Cramps for days.

As for Russell Brand...i'm reading his book just know and it's as bad as you'd think. It really should be called My Yoga,Celebrity Stories and Stating the Bleedin Obvious.
Seems such a shame but it kept us entertained

Zombie movies may have come in droves before but back then, some thought into gore, style, tension, horror and wit was put forth. Now, it's just something to make per default without much effort.

Have you heard of this one?

Pride and Prejudice re-written with zombies.

Heard about it last night on the Chase.
