new pledge - commercial release

Postby lost johnny » 25th Jul 12, 19:42

As with the majority, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole pledge thang, in fact it was fucking ace. I got caught up in the final stages with buying a copy of 100% to boost it in to the chart and that was a fabulous add-on, which makes me wonder if the new release will have a commercial element? (Don't do the whole Formspring / Twitter thing, so apologies if I've missed something).

If so, then who's up for trying to get organised and really having a go at getting G in the top ten? I'm enough of a fanboy to want all versions of any releases and if I can time / place my purchase to make a chart entry, then I'd do so instantly. Anyone out there know enough about it to advise how / when / where to buy to maximise the impact? Anyone else fancy Project Top Ten?

new pledge - commercial release

I'm sure I read somewhere there will be a commercial release for Mutation with some stuff from each of the two albums. It would be great to get some noise that nasty in the charts :)

I know it's overused on the internet today to post this, but let's skip the fluff and:

Not according to my eyes. It was about 80 mins, which is pretty impressive. Still says 99% on the Pledge page, but it was saying that at about 510 pledges, it's now gone up by over 100. I think it's currently at about 120%.

Yeah, when I was watching it had been saying 99% for ages despite the pledges going up by about 150 - 200. I choose to believe it was an hour unless Pledge Music's broken servers can prove me wrong. :p

Anyway, whichever way you look at it - pretty incredible result. I now await my new tunes with enormous levels of impatience.

WOOYEEHAHBABYYEAH!! :)

Right, guys? Guys?

Um, am I missing something? Where's everybody gone? Not seeing any current action on Ginger's Twitter or Formspring. Not a lot happening here, either.

Maybe we're already getting so used to righteously ripping up music industry paradigms that everyone's in bed already? ;)

Hey, I really enjoyed 555%. To be honest, I've only listened to the first CD, I want to soak it all up before moving onto the second and third disc - something to look forward to.

A question about the next pledge. So, there are going to be 2 Mutation albums, does anyone know what kind of music it's going to be, heavy sounding? Also, does anyone know when the time to pledge will close. I'll probably pledge during the week for the two albums and for the Hello, Hello disc.

Any dates when these will be out, early next year?

Cheers,
Murik

Best look at this, as it gives you a bit of a preview, with some sounds.

It's heavy.

^^ Both Mutations are supposed to be heavy and crazy, with the first being more punk with some melodic elements and the second being god-knows-what experimental madness. I think.
